Privacy Policy — DealDrive

1. Information We Collect

When you use DealDrive, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, and car search criteria you provide. We do not collect payment card details — these are handled securely by Stripe.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to: contact car dealers on your behalf, send you deal notifications and search updates, process your $99 payment when a deal is found, and communicate with you about your searches. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Information Shared With Dealers

During negotiation, dealers receive only your car search criteria (make, model, features required). Your name, contact details and email are never shared with dealers during the negotiation phase. Dealer contact details are only revealed to you after you pay the $99 fee.

4. Data Security

Deal details (dealer name, exact price, contact information) are stored encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption and are only decrypted after your payment is confirmed. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

5. Data Retention

We retain your search and account data for 3 years or until you request deletion. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing hello@dealdrive.com.au.

6. Cookies

We use essential session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
